BBA Afterschool Inc. is hiring enthusiastic, dependable, and energetic After-School Sports Coaches to lead fun and engaging Soccer, Basketball, and Flag Football programs for elementary-aged students in Baltimore, MD.

This is a great opportunity for experienced coaches, former athletes, teachers, youth sports instructors, college students, or anyone who enjoys working with children and helping them develop confidence, teamwork, and athletic skills.

Position Details

• Part-time, after-school position
• Monday through Friday
• Afternoon after-school hours
• 1.5-hour sessions
• $37.50 per session ($25 per hour)
• No weekends
• No lesson planning required
• Curriculum and equipment provided
• In-person position in Baltimore

Sports Offered

Coaches may lead one or more of the following programs:

• Soccer
• Basketball
• Flag Football

Experience in multiple sports is a plus, but you do not need to be an expert in all three.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging sports sessions for elementary students
• Teach age-appropriate fundamentals and skills
• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive behavior
• Follow BBA's structured curriculum and activities
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment
• Supervise groups of approximately 15–25 students
• Encourage participation, confidence, and skill development
• Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership

Qualifications

• Experience playing or coaching sports is preferred but not required
• Experience working with children is a plus
• Comfortable working with students in grades K–5
• Reliable transportation to schools throughout Baltimore County
• Dependable and punctual
• Positive and energetic attitude
• Must successfully complete the required Baltimore County Public Schools background check and fingerprinting process
