Northbrook Rehabilitation Center is actively hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct, hands-on care and daily support to residents. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) ensures resident safety, comfort, and dignity while working closely with nursing staff and the care team. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will deliver high-quality care to support resident well-being.

Schedule and Employment Type

  • Full-Time & Part-Time Evenings (2PM - 10PM)

  • Full-Time Nights (10PM - 6AM)

  • PRN | Required to work at least 2 shifts per month

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct resident care as a Certified Nursing Assistant CNA, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance

  • Assist residents with safe transfers, ambulation, and use of mobility devices

  • Observe residents closely and report condition changes to nursing staff

  • Support meals, hydration, and feeding as needed

  • Promote resident dignity, comfort, and emotional well-being

  • Follow infection control, safety, and documentation standards

Qualifications

  • Current state certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant CNA

  • Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care

  • Reliable attendance and ability to work as part of a team

  • Long-term care experience preferred but not required
