CNA Responsibilities

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide direct resident care and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) while promoting comfort, dignity, and independence.

Key Duties Include:

  • Answer resident call lights and respond promptly to resident needs

  • Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral hygiene

  • Provide support with activities of daily living (ADLs)

  • Serve meals, collect trays, and assist residents with feeding as needed

  • Transport residents safely using wheelchairs and other mobility equipment

  • Assist residents with walking, transfers, and mobility

  • Turn and reposition residents to promote comfort and prevent skin breakdown

  • Measure and record vital signs, weights, intake and output, and other resident information

  • Accurately complete resident charting and documentation

  • Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents

CNA Qualifications

Required:

  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification in the State of Montana

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment

  • Compassionate, patient-focused approach to resident care

Preferred:

  • Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, memory care, assisted living, nursing home, or healthcare settings

  • Knowledge of resident rights and person-centered care practices
