Industrial Multicraft Mechanic - Food Processing

Step into a day on our maintenance team

You arrive on the production floor of our meat processing facility ready to keep critical equipment running. You’ll move from diagnosing a vacuum system issue, to tuning a hydraulic circuit, to reading an electrical schematic for a packaging line—sometimes solo, sometimes shoulder-to-shoulder with teammates. By the end of your shift, you’ve executed preventative maintenance, logged repairs, and ensured our operations meet food industry GMP standards.

What you’ll handle

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical power and control systems.
• Diagnose, service, and upkeep vacuum systems.
• Maintain and repair pneumatic and hydraulic equipment and components.
• Overhaul and align mechanical systems and processing equipment.
• Install processing and packaging equipment under direct supervision as needed.
• Measure, cut, and drill to tight tolerances using hand tools and machine shop equipment.
• Weld stainless and carbon steel as required.
• Follow food manufacturing GMPs throughout all maintenance work.
• Perform building repairs when needed.
• Interpret and work from basic electrical schematics.
• Execute preventative maintenance programs to maximize uptime.

What you bring

• Must have manufacturing experience.
• Experience working independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with: Mechanical troubleshooting; 120/208/240/480V systems; general maintenance and repair; industrial electrical work; hydraulic systems and components; mechanical component repair; equipment repair and maintenance; refrigerated warehouse operations.
• Food manufacturing or refrigeration experience is a plus.

Bonus

$2000 sign on bonus paid at 30 days.
