CNC SET UP Lead, Split Shift

Primary Responsibilities: • Complete first piece inspections and make adjustments to bring the parts and process in compliance with prints using the proper calibrated measuring devices. • Reads and interprets blueprints • Verify production rates and communicate with fabrication supervisor if rates need adjusting. • Set tools, pick up zero points and run through new and repeat programs. • Programs the CNC machine as needed. • Advises management if there are any issues that should be addressed with regards to company policy or procedures on assigned shifts. • Assists with production as needed. • Initiates action to prevent non-conformances, including shutting equipment down.
Qualifications: • Minimum of 5 years experience running CNC machines • A good understanding of quality requirements and inspection • Proficient in CNC Set up, Offsets, and Tool changes • Experience working within a leadership or training position
