Industrial Production Specialist - 5S/Kaizen Focus
Job Description
If you’re the person who spots a loose process, tightens it up, and makes it safer, this role is built for you. Imagine starting your 12-hour shift with a quick safety scan—any issue you catch is reported right away to your supervisor or the safety team. Then you move to the glass line, operating pre- or post-processing equipment exactly to standard so quality stays consistent and customers stay happy.
Picture a brief alarm: you assess, troubleshoot the line or product, and get things back on track. Between runs, you replenish raw materials—jumping on a stand-up or sit-down forklift—and verify everything is in place for the next cycle. You keep a spotless, organized area through 5S so abnormalities stand out. When a small mechanical hiccup appears, you handle the minor maintenance needed to avoid delays.
Later, you help run a quick Kaizen activity or even lead it, shaving time off a changeover. During job changes, you collaborate to reconfigure the line. Through it all, you demonstrate the AGC Way—team-oriented, customer-focused, and improvement-driven. And when priorities shift, you’re ready to take on other duties or projects as assigned.
