We develop advanced, cutting-edge solutions for theme parks and the Defense Industrial Base.ResponsibilitiesProgram large format 5 Axis CNC files using MasterCamUse computer software to model cutting paths and program machines accordinglyPerform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specificationsAdjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining qualityConsider tools required to cut particular materials and program machines accordinglyTroubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arisePerform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and sharpeningRead technical drawings and set up the machines in accordance with designsTrain new employees on how to properly operate CNC machines and programsAdhere to required standards established to maintain ISO 9001:2015 certificationQualificationsCandidates must possess a High School diploma, GED or equivalent experienceExperience programming Mastercam is preferred, not required2-5 years of CNC programming experienceRelevant experience with complex CNC set-ups and 1st run validation on a variety of machine toolsPrevious experience working in a manufacturing setting is requiredMust have strong attention to detailFamiliarity and skill with interpreting technical drawings and blueprintsSkilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems that ariseAbility to work independently and closely follow directions is essentialShould have a positive and professional attitudeCapable of standing for extended periods of timeAbility to lift up to 50 lbs for short periods of timePosition Type and Hours: Full-Time; Monday-Friday, 7a.m.-3:30p.m.
