Junior Production Welder

Position: Junior Production Welder

Location: Plano, TX Schedule: Full‑time

Overview: The Junior Production Welder supports manufacturing by performing basic welding tasks, assembling metal components, and maintaining quality standards in a fast‑paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG/TIG welding on steel and aluminum components
• Read and follow basic blueprints, work orders, and production specs
• Operate grinders, cutters, and other fabrication tools
• Inspect welds for accuracy, defects, and structural integrity
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety protocols
• Assist senior welders and production leads as needed

Qualifications

• 0–2 years welding experience (school or shop experience accepted)
• Ability to pass a weld test
• Basic understanding of welding tools and safety practices
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Preferred

• Welding certification (AWS or equivalent)
• Experience in manufacturing or metal fabrication
