Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The CNA will provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of residents/patients in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and changes in patient condition
Support patient mobility, including transfers, repositioning, and ambulation
Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary patient environment
Communicate patient needs and concerns to nursing staff promptly
Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
Follow all infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications:
Active CNA certification in the state of employment
High school diploma or equivalent
Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift, move, and assist patients as needed
Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented
