Forklift Operator

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join a dynamic team at a facility located in Suffolk, VA. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring that materials are handled and transported safely and effectively.

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, and stack products.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling and storage.
• Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• Assist in inventory management by keeping accurate records of materials handled.
• Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge related to forklift operation.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid forklift operator certification.
• Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management and reporting.
