PEDS CVOR SURGICAL TECH with strong Peds Cardiac, Neuro, Ortho, General, and Level 1 Trauma experience required. Shift time: 6:40a-5:10 p.m. Weekends, Holidays, call, and Float per department guidelines. Responsibilities
Assist surgical team by preparing sterile fields and instrument trays.
Maintain accurate case carts, instrument counts, and patient identifiers.
Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards at all times.
Assist with instrument handling and passing during procedures with precision.
Coordinate with OR team to ensure timely setup and turnover for cases.
Document case activity and report any deviations or equipment issues.
Meet departmental targets for productivity and case throughput.
Document and communicate any patient or equipment concerns to leadership.
Monitor and track supply usage to support lean inventory management.
Support post-operative decontamination and instrument reprocessing per policy.
Demonstrate eagerness to learn, participate in ongoing skills development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support pipeline and workflow visibility.
Experience/Qualifications
Certified Surgical Technologist with current CVOR experience preferred.
Accurate sterile field setup and instrument tray preparation.
Precise instrument passing and handling during procedures.
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times.
Maintain accurate case carts, instrument counts, and patient identifiers.
Document case activity, deviations, and equipment issues timely.
Support turnover and setup to meet departmental productivity targets.
Post-operative instrument decontamination and reprocessing per policy.
Monitor supply usage; contribute to lean inventory practices.

Collaborate with OR team and cross-functional groups for workflow visibility.
Strong communication skills; report patient or equipment concerns to leadership.
Ability to work in a growth-oriented, results-driven environment with measurable KPIs.
Contract role with on-site location; adherence to contractual terms and shifts.
