CNC Press Brake Setup & Forming Specialist

Day in the Life

Join our Milwaukee, WI fabrication team and take ownership of precision metal forming on CNC press brakes. On second shift (Mon–Thu only, with a shift premium), you’ll review work orders and prints, stage tooling, run first-article checks, and fine-tune programs to deliver accurate bends the first time. Throughout the shift, you will execute production runs, verify dimensions, adjust offsets, and keep equipment running at peak performance—all while collaborating with teammates to hit quality and delivery targets.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and operate CNC press brakes to form sheet and plate components to spec.
• Translate blueprints, drawings, and travelers into precise bend sequences and tooling choices.
• Perform in-process and final inspections to confirm parts meet customer and industry standards.
• Troubleshoot forming issues and optimize machine performance to minimize downtime.
• Partner with peers to streamline setups and elevate throughput without compromising quality.
• Maintain a safe, orderly work area and follow all safety procedures.

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience running CNC press brakes in a production environment.
• Fluency in reading blueprints/schematics and interpreting technical documentation.
• Accuracy with measurements, math, and bend calculations.
• Strong diagnostic mindset and meticulous attention to detail.
• Clear communication skills and a team-first attitude.
• Working knowledge of shop safety practices and PPE requirements.
