What you’ll do daily

• Use multiple welding processes to repair and fabricate railcar components.
• Diagnose mechanical problems from inspection findings and test results.
• Perform component replacements and adjustments to restore function.
• Record parts, procedures, and results accurately for maintenance history.

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in welding or mechanics is a plus.
• Experience as a welder or mechanic; rail industry background preferred.
• Solid command of welding techniques, tools, and safety practices.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Detail orientation and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Team-first mindset with the ability to work independently when needed.
• Valid driver’s license; able to work flexible hours as required.
