Job Title: Lead Facilities Maintenance Technician Location-Type: Onsite, Albuquerque, NM Start Date: ASAP Duration: 6 month contract to hire Compensation Range: $25-38/hour W2 Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, 401K Must be authorized to work in the U.S. This position is not eligible for sponsorship. Job Description: The Lead Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for managing and maintaining building systems, equipment, and facility operations to ensure a safe, functional, and efficient site environment. Job Summary •Manage, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot building equipment and machinery, including HVAC and temperature control systems. •Maintain the Preventive Maintenance schedule by ensuring all PMs, audits, and inspections are completed on time and reflected in the work order system. •Co-lead the facilities work order management system to ensure actions are completed on time and within scope. •Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for specialized repairs, equipment installation, and facility upgrades. •Partner with the HSE team to drive HSE protocols and policies across the organization. •Support space planning and layout creation activities for the Operations team. •Participate in and report out on planned and ongoing projects, attending project review meetings to track progress and address challenges. Minimum Requirements: •High school diploma or GED •5 or more years of experience in one or more of the following fields: engineering, energy, cleanroom, specialty gas, mechanical contracting, facility management, or contractor management •Ability to lift at least 25 pounds and flexibility to work evenings and weekends with limited notice Preferred Qualifications: •Associate degree in electronics, industrial, mechanical, or facilities maintenance •HVAC, Low Voltage, Electrical, or Mechanical certifications •Familiarity with OSHA regulations, environmental health and safety guidelines, and local building and fire codes •Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude with the ability to analyze and apply new information and concepts
