Your Day-to-Day ImpactAs a CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift, you will play a key role in producing high-quality precision-machined products while supporting safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on machinist position focused on setup, operation, and quality production. It is not a lead or supervisory role.
Shift: 2nd Shift
You'll play a vital role in our manufacturing team by:
- Setting up and operating CNC equipment to produce products that meet customer and quality requirements.
- Reviewing drawings, inspection sheets, programs, and setup documentation to support production requirements.
- Using precision measuring instruments and gauges to verify product quality.
- Assisting with troubleshooting machining issues and improving manufacturing processes.
- Supporting machine setup reductions, productivity improvements, and quality enhancements.
- Working safely with forklifts, overhead lifting devices, and other manufacturing equipment as required.
- Maintaining housekeeping, organization, and 5S standards throughout the work area.
- Participating in continuous improvement activities and promoting a strong safety culture.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
We're looking for candidates who are sharp, safety-focused, and ready to roll up their sleeves:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CNC machining experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Proficiency using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and related inspection tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
- Ability to work overtime and support production demands as needed.
