Welder

Indrotec is seeking an experienced Welder to join our growing team on 2nd shift. This position is responsible for assembling and welding metal components used in a variety of manufactured products. The ideal candidate will have strong fabrication and welding skills, experience reading blueprints, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Perform brazing and a variety of arc and gas welding processes.
• Utilize FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) techniques.
• Position, align, and clamp fabricated metal components prior to welding.
• Operate power tools including grinders, saws, drills, and other fabrication equipment.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations to ensure accurate measurements and fit-up.
• Rig, lift, and move materials safely and efficiently.
• Complete routing information, production tags, counts, and other required documentation.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of welding experience.
• Proven experience as a Welder, Fabricator/Welder, or similar role.
• Proficiency with a variety of welding techniques and equipment.
• Experience using FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and schematics.
• Strong math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to safely rig and move materials.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety.

Benefits

• Health care insurance benefits available first of the month following 60 days of employment. Thirty (30) hours worked per week must be averaged in order to maintain coverage. 401k enrollment is available per the Secure Act guidelines.
