Hanover Hall Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dependable and experienced Maintenance Assistant to join our team. This full-time, on-site position plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Pay: $20.00 per hour and up depending on experience
Position Details
Full-Time Maintenance Position
Schedule: Monday–Friday, On-Site
On-Call: Once or twice per month (including weekends/holidays as needed)
Valid Driver’s License Required
Key Responsibilities
Perform general facility maintenance, including repairs to walls, baseboards, doors, ceilings, mirrors, and windows
Perform painting tasks as needed
Complete drywall repair, patching, and replacement
Handle general mechanical and maintenance tasks throughout the facility
Coordinate daily maintenance activities with nursing staff when working in resident care areas
Follow established maintenance schedules, policies, and supervisor instructions
Perform routine repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, plastering, and mechanical work
Assist with the Preventative Maintenance Program to ensure equipment and systems remain operational
Respond to unscheduled or emergency maintenance needs as required
Qualifications
Prior general maintenance experience required
Drilling, wall repair, and painting experience required
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Valid driver’s license required
