Description:Caring Hands United, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Caregiver in the Zebulon, GA area. For this position, we welcome CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistant) and PCAs (Personal Care Assistants) to apply. We also provide PCA training to qualified individuals who have at least 6 months of personal or professional experience working with frail older adults or disabled adults. We offer flexible scheduling.Duties:This person will be able to work in our clients' homes providing support with daily living tasks and personal care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and Staffing Coordinator. Also, caregivers must be able to travel to one or more client locations in the community.Assist clients in personal care, learning skills, and performing daily living skillsParticipates in recreational/social activities, light housekeeping, and grocery shoppingMay accompany clients to appointments and activitiesObserves and documents client's behaviorQualifications:6+ months experience working in a healthcare facility or home care is preferredDemonstrate knowledge and understanding of procedures performed by a Certified Nursing Assistant or be willing to be trainedRequired Credentials:CPR CertificationFirst Aid CertificationTB/PPDValid Driver's LicenseValid Auto InsuranceFor this position, a background check and drug test is required.
