CNC Machine Operator (1st Shift)
Pay: $23-25/hr.
Shift: Mon-Fri (6am to 4:30pm) with optional Saturday OT
Job Description:
- The CNC Machine Operator will have experience with one or more of the following: Kinetic Plasma table, Peddinghaus Saw/Drill line, Peddinghaus Angle Master, Ficep Beamline. This position also requires experience with overhead cranes, detailed part marking, and manual lifting of 50lbs regularly.
Requirements:
- Ability to interpret blueprints, symbols and notes is preferred
- Must be able to read a tape measure to within 1/16”
- Ability to perform basic math
- Ability to stand for a prolonged period
- Ability to tolerate hot and cold working environments
- Ability to safely operator overhead cranes and the material transfer/convey system
- Tekla PowerFab experience preferred
Job Duties:
- Measure materials to assure conformance with design specifications
- Select correct material type, stock size and dimensions
- Transfer appropriate data onto materials
- Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Keep an accurate record of daily operations and material usage
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and assist in trouble shooting any machine issues
