Per Diem Social Worker (LMSW or LCSW)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker (LCSW or LMSW ) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health services to individuals. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions to promote emotional well-being and enhance the quality of life for our clients through in-person sessions.
Social Worker Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess client needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Fill a minimum of 20 hours a week.
Provide in-person individual counseling services over Zoom, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to client requirements.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards, including ICD-9 coding for diagnoses.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure holistic support for clients.
Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on skill development, coping strategies, and peer support.
Provide ongoing support and advocacy for clients within the adult home
Social Worker Qualifications:
A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
Valid LMSW or LCSW license in the state of practice is mandatory.
Proficiency in medical documentation practices and familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes is essential.
Strong skills in crisis intervention techniques are highly desirable.
Previous experience facilitating group therapy sessions is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
