Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility.
  • Answer resident call lights promptly and provide compassionate care.
  • Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation using proper safety techniques.
  • Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team.
  • Document resident care accurately and timely.
  • Promote resident comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
  • Follow infection prevention, safety, and facility policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
Qualifications
  • Current Alabama Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center, long-term care, hospital, or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
  • Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional resident care.
