Hotel Maintenance Engineer

We're looking for a courteous, detail-oriented maintenance engineer to provide our guests with a five-star experience. You'll be in charge of overseeing the property’s overall upkeep and carrying out routine processes to make it fully functioning, pleasurable, and safe. $25 - $30 hourly Based on Experience

Responsibilities:

• Manage the hotel's machinery and preventive maintenance procedures
• Use a wide range of tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, indicators, edge finders, drills, wrenches, and additional equipment
• Complete all work orders and fix maintenance problems promptly
• Respond to emergencies that occur outside of regular working hours
• Adhere to all engineering safety norms and procedures

• The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for responding to guest calls and work orders

• They need to have a broad understanding of basic electrical, mechanical, HVAV, plumbing, painting, wall coverings, carpentry, and electronic repair and maintenance

Qualifications:

• Good knowledge of computer software; preferably facilities management software
• A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required
• Must have strong organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills
• This position requires occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• You will need 2-4 years of experience in a maintenance role
