Machinist

Mechanic/Machinist Position Job Responsibilities:Contribute to team effort by accomplishing repairs and maintenance tasks as neededTroubleshoot and repair production equipmentSet up and operate manual lathes and milling machinesProgram, set up, and operate CNC mill and latheWork from drawings, instructions, blueprints, or measurementsTake precise measurements for cutting and shapingSelects appropriate machines and settings to complete assignmentResponsible for following all safety regulations and complying with SOPs, DEEP, OSHA, FDA, and cGMPs.Attend in-house training sessionsAdditional tasks as directed Qualifications/Skills:Excellent coordination and mechanical skillsExperience with mechanical troubleshooting and repairs in a factory environmentCNC and manual machining experienceStrong attention to detail, accuracy, and safetySolid written and verbal communication skillsProficient in mathBasic computer skillsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds Education and Experience Requirements:High school degree or equivalentExperience with production machinery troubleshooting and repairExperience working with machine tools and mechanical assemblyCNC and manual machining experienceWorking knowledge of safety protocolsApprenticeship or vocational training preferred
