Position Overview:

Our team is seeking a part-time Business Insurance Assistant to support our commercial accounts and help us strengthen relationships with local business owners. This role starts in-office with the opportunity to transition into a hybrid or work-from-home schedule based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle requests for Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and Endorsement pages
- Investigate and follow up on commercial cancellation notices to help retain accounts
- Prepare and send ENOL (Employer Non-Owned Auto) renewal quotes
- Follow up on unpaid collection letters to policyholders
- Communicate with the Business Lines Resource Center to follow up on cases involving additional interests
- Reach out to small business clients to explore opportunities for personal insurance and set IPS (Insurance and Financial Services) appointments
- Someone with a strong attention to detail and a professional, solution-driven communication style
- Comfortable working with commercial lines and able to manage multiple administrative tasks
- Prior insurance experience is a plus, but not required
- Must obtain Property & Casualty license (if not already licensed)
