Summary:

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring all production equipment, machinery, and facility systems are maintained in safe, reliable operating condition. This role performs preventative maintenance, corrective repairs, and troubleshooting while complying with company policies, food safety, workplace safety, and environmental standards. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, utilities, and facility systems.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and perform corrective repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Understand and follow emergency procedures; escalate unsafe conditions as required.
  • Oversee maintenance of facility systems and production equipment.
  • Work closely with Production to ensure safe, timely manufacturing while meeting food safety and quality standards.
  • Comply with all GMP, SQF, workplace safety, environmental, and company standards.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and document maintenance activities as required.
  • Adapt to changing priorities, operational needs, and production demands.
  • Ensure all activities align with the Company Mission Statement.
  • Operate job-related equipment safely, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Meet the physical demands of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain availability to work any assigned shift, including rotating shifts, to support 24/7 operations as applicable.

  • Education: High School Diploma or (GED) is required. Technical or vocational degree in related fields and bakery experience is strongly preferred and/or a combination of education and relevant experience.
