Position: CNC Machinist

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to produce precision components for large industrial machinery. This role requires hands-on experience with CNC mills and/or lathes, strong setup and blueprint-reading skills, and the ability to inspect your own work and produce quality parts with limited supervision.
Experience with large bridge mills is highly preferred. CNC programming experience is a plus.
Primary Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes.
- Machine components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Set work offsets, tooling, speeds, feeds, and machining parameters.
- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and machining drawings.
- Use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, indicators, and height gauges.
- Verify dimensions and tolerances and make necessary machine or tooling adjustments.
- Troubleshoot machining and setup issues.
- Inspect completed parts for quality and accuracy.
- Maintain tooling, machines, and work areas.
- Assist with machining process and cycle-time improvements.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience
- Several years of CNC machining experience preferred.
- CNC mill and/or lathe setup experience.
- Bridge mill experience highly preferred.
- CNC programming or program-editing experience is a plus.
- Experience machining large weldments or industrial components is a plus.
- Strong blueprint-reading and machining knowledge.
- Ability to hold close tolerances and perform setups with limited supervision.
- Dependable, quality-focused, and detail-oriented.
