Job Description
Join a trusted manufacturer on the Westside of Jacksonville, FL as a full-time, on-site Manual Machinist in a direct-hire role. You’ll take raw stock to finished parts on conventional equipment, bringing prints to life with precision and pride.
A day in your shopYou clock in, review a new work order, and study the blueprint to confirm materials, tolerances, and critical dimensions. You select tooling, set speeds and feeds, and mark out the workpiece. You rough, then finish on a manual lathe or mill. Out comes the micrometer, caliper, dial indicator, and gauges—dimensions verify, surface finish meets spec, and the part ships on time. Between runs, you tweak setups to chase perfection, help a teammate with a tricky repair, and log improvement ideas that make the next job go faster.
