HiFyve is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician in the Manufacturing & Energy industry in Claremont, MN!

Salary: $27 - $33 an hour

Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Location: Claremont, MN

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations on mechanical and process equipment.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues using schematics, technical manuals, mechanical drawings, and diagnostic tools.

• Maintain and repair equipment including dryers, conveyors, pumps, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and other mechanical systems.

• Assist with the repair and maintenance of process-related equipment to minimize downtime and maintain continuous plant operations.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, service logs, and inspection documentation.

• Collaborate with team members to prioritize maintenance tasks and support efficient plant operations.

• Operate company vehicles for maintenance-related tasks while following all safety protocols.

• Assist with facility upgrades, modifications, and construction-related maintenance projects as needed.

• Follow all company safety procedures when working around moving mechanical parts, machinery, confined spaces, heights, and other industrial hazards.

• Communicate technical information clearly with team members and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance, mechanical systems, or a related field is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proven experience in industrial maintenance, service technician work, or process mechanical systems repair.

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with complex industrial machinery.

• Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and mechanical drawings.

• Experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) activities in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

• Familiarity with CMMS systems and maintenance inventory management is preferred.

• Experience with HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, and process equipment is preferred.

• Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate company vehicles.

• Strong communication, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance tasks in a fast-paced industrial environment.

• Ability to lift and move items up to 60 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, climbing, and balancing.

• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.

• Ability to work around odors, fumes, airborne particles, vibration, moving mechanical parts, noise, and varying outdoor weather conditions.
