Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Hartford, CT | 2nd & 3rd Shift | Monday–Friday | $30–$36/hr

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for a direct-hire opportunity in Hartford, CT. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience maintaining and repairing industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Schedule

• 2nd and 3rd shift openings
• Monday–Friday
• Full-time, direct-hire position

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on industrial machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and make necessary repairs.
• Maintain and repair hydraulic systems, bearings, pumps, motors, and other mechanical equipment.
• Identify equipment problems and make adjustments or part replacements as needed.
• Help minimize equipment downtime and keep production running efficiently.
• Follow maintenance schedules, safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Work with production personnel to quickly resolve equipment issues.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in industrial maintenance or as a maintenance mechanic.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Hands-on experience with hydraulics, bearings, and industrial machinery.
• Comfortable using common maintenance tools and equipment.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings or equipment documentation.
• Strong attention to safety and ability to work independently.
