Join Our Team!

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Winder Operator Associate to join our production team. In this hands-on role, you will set up, operate, and monitor winding equipment while ensuring product quality, safety, and production efficiency. Shift is 7am to 3:30 pm, Monday thru Friday.


What You'll Do

  • Load materials and set up wide and small winders according to job specifications.
  • Operate winding equipment to convert master rolls into finished products.
  • Monitor product quality throughout the production process.
  • Cut custom cores as needed to support production requirements.
  • Apply headers, labels, and barcodes to finished rolls.
  • Complete production schedules and job documentation accurately.
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance and lubrication.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment.


Physical Requirements

  • Lift up to 80 pounds repeatedly.
  • Stand and operate equipment for up to 7 hours per shift.
  • Frequently walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and carry materials.
  • Use manual dexterity to operate production equipment safely.


Qualifications

  • Ability to operate a tow motor/forklift or willingness to obtain company-sponsored certification.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong math and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.


Preferred Experience

Experience operating production machinery, working with manufacturing materials, and operating a tow motor/forklift is preferred. Candidates without certification must be willing to complete company-provided tow motor certification training.
