Certified Medication Aide

Location: Columbus, Nebraska

Department: Nursing

Reports to: DON

Position Type: Full-Time 6a-6p/6p-6a

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications as ordered by physicians, under the supervision of the Charge Nurse or designated supervisor

  • Monitor and record vital signs, medications, and treatments as required

  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

  • Observe and report changes in residents' conditions to the Charge Nurse or designated supervisor

  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of medications, treatments, and resident care

Requirements:

  • Currently certified as a Medication Aide and Nurse Aide in the state of Nebraska

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • 0 years of experience in a healthcare setting (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply)

  • Ability to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
