Job Description – Lumper (Food Distribution Warehouse)

Position: Lumper

Location: Medley, FL

Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (some days may begin as early as 6:00 AM)

We are seeking hardworking and reliable Lumpers to join a food distribution company that supplies products to cruise ships. This is a physically demanding warehouse position involving the unloading and handling of food products in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Unload containers manually and safely.
• Move, stack, and organize food products throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload pallets as needed.
• Assist with general warehouse duties to support daily operations.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Occasionally work inside refrigerated/cold storage areas (not for the entire shift).

Requirements:

• Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift heavy objects throughout the day.
• Previous warehouse or lumper experience is preferred but not required.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Ability to occasionally work in cold storage environments.
• Steel-toe or work boots are preferred.
