In This Role, You Will
  • Operate CNC mills, lathes, and associated equipment to produce precision parts.
  • Read and apply blueprints, drawings, GD&T, and work instructions to guide machining steps.
  • Choose tooling and fixtures; set feeds and speeds to hit accuracy and throughput goals.
  • Execute first-article and in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
  • Diagnose machining challenges; refine programs or machine settings as appropriate.
  • Streamline processes to shorten cycle times and minimize scrap.
  • Meet production schedules while upholding strict quality standards.
What You Need to Succeed
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 3 years of machining experience in manufacturing.
  • Strong grasp of machining theory, tooling, materials, and tight tolerances.
  • Comfortable reading prints and interpreting GD&T.
  • Skilled with precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
  • Experience with Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Siemens or comparable controls preferred.
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
  • Dedication to safety practices and quality expectations.
Physical Demands & Work Setting
  • Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Manual dexterity for safe operation of manufacturing equipment.
  • Manufacturing environment with heat, machine noise, metal shavings, lubricants, and moving mechanical parts; PPE and safety procedures required.
