Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Restorative Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Chipley, Florida. As a Restorative CNA, you will play a vital role in helping residents achieve and maintain their maximum level of function, independence, and quality of life through restorative nursing interventions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide restorative nursing care according to individualized care plans
• Assist residents with range-of-motion exercises, ambulation, transfers, positioning, and mobility activities
• Encourage residents to perform activities of daily living (ADLs) independently whenever possible
• Assist with walking programs, splint and brace application, and adaptive equipment use
• Check and maintain wander guards
• Weekly and monthly weights
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical, emotional, or cognitive condition to licensed nursing staff
• Maintain accurate documentation and restorative records
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, therapists, and healthcare team members
• Follow infection control, safety, and facility policy and procedures

Qualifications:

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous long-term care or restorative nursing experience preferred
• Knowledge of restorative nursing principles and rehabilitation techniques
• Ability to safely transfer, lift, and assist residents
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, push, and pull throughout the workday
• Ability to lift and transfer residents according to facility guidelines
• Ability to respond quickly to residents' needs and emergencies
