VIP Staffing is immediately hiring a Fiberglass Craftsman for a leading organization in Rio Rancho, NM

This is a Full Time Temp to hire Opportunity

Schedule is Mon-Friday 7am-3:30 pm

Pay is $18-$20 per hour

As a Fiberglass Technician you will:

Perform fiberglass and composite repairs on aircraft components to ensure structural integrity.
Apply wet lay-up techniques using epoxy resins and fiberglass or carbon cloth.
Utilize tooling and fixtures to facilitate accurate and effective repairs.
Assist with pre-preg, vacuum bagging, and spray-painting tasks as needed.
Ensure all repairs meet stringent quality and safety standards.

Fiberglass Technician candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:

2-3 years of hands-on experience working with fiberglass or carbon fiber materials.
Skilled in wet layups and freehand composite repairs.
Experience cutting, grinding, and fitting composite parts using hand tools.
Background may come from aviation, marine, automotive, or manufacturing environments.
Comfortable working with resins, hardeners, and composite repair processes.
Strong focus on quality workmanship and detail.
Ideal candidate has prior aviation composite repair experience and can work independently on complex repairs.
