Job Summary

The Project Coordinator supports the planning and execution of rack installation projects at Reich Installation Services, Inc. This role works closely with Project Managers, field teams, customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to keep projects organized, properly supplied, and on schedule.

This is a hybrid office and warehouse position. In addition to managing emails, phone calls, project documentation, and scheduling, the Project Coordinator will assist with receiving deliveries, organizing the warehouse, preparing and packaging tools and equipment, coordinating shipments, and supporting job-site needs. Occasional travel to job sites may be required.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supports the planning and coordination of assigned rack installation projects, including maintaining schedules, Gantt charts, milestones, and project documentation.
  • Monitors project progress, resources, tools, materials, and equipment to help keep projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Communicates with customers, vendors, suppliers, field teams, and internal stakeholders regarding project needs, timelines, and issues.
  • Assists with coordinating teams, resolving project issues, and communicating delays or changes to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Assists with purchase orders, change orders, proposals, project reports, and other project documentation.
  • Coordinates deliveries and receives, organizes, packages, and prepares tools, equipment, and materials for job sites.
  • Maintains an organized warehouse and assists with inventory and equipment tracking.
  • Assists with new job-site setup and ensuring field teams have the necessary tools, equipment, and materials.
  • May travel to job sites on rare occasions to assist with project coordination, deliveries, setup, or other project needs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience & Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, construction, logistics, warehouse operations, or related field preferred.
  • Construction or rack installation experience is a plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with computer systems (MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, ADP is a plus)
  • Ability to learn new and complex computer systems.

  • Able to lift and move material up to 50 pounds each.
  • Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
  • Occasionally push and pull up to 100 pounds.
  • Able to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitations.

Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, and standing on concrete for long hours
