Precision Machining Technician -- VMC & Engine Lathe

Our client is searching for a versatile technician who can thrive on both sides of the shop floor: Haas CNC VMCs and manual mills and lathes. If you enjoy making smart adjustments, reading prints with confidence, and leaving a clean, safe work area, this is your next step.

Core responsibilities

• Set up and operate lathes, mills, and grinders to meet exact specifications.
• Interpret drawings/blueprints to define sequences, tools, and workholding.
• Monitor machining; adjust tooling, offsets, and parameters to maintain quality.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues promptly.
• Partner with teammates to elevate processes and throughput.
• Maintain a tidy workstation and follow all safety standards.

Must-haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training/certification is a plus).
• Demonstrated experience as a machinist or similar role.
• Hands-on time with Haas CNC equipment and manual machining tools.
• Working knowledge of materials, tooling, and machining practices.
• Comfortable reading technical documents and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and practical problem-solving.
• Team-oriented communication skills.
