Certified Nursing Assistant-CNA Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Active, unencumbered CNA certification in the state of New Jersey

  • Previous long term care experience is preferred but not required

  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills

  • Compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to resident care

  • Perform all duties in accordance with local, state and federal guidelines.

Certified Nursing Assistant-CNA Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility, and personal hygiene

  • Help maintain a clean and comfortable living environment

  • Prepare resident rooms with necessary supplies such as blankets, toiletries, and medical equipment

  • Monitor and document resident conditions, reporting changes to nursing staff

  • Support residents with social engagement and emotional well-being

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal healthcare regulations

  • Work collaboratively with fellow caregivers and healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care
