Compassionate CHHA Needed for In-Home Care 3 Hours/7 Days a week

Location: Lodi, NJ (Bergen County)

Position: Part-Time (3 hours/day, 7 days a week)

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM monday-sunday (must be available all 7 days)

Pay: $19 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide essential care for a male patient at his home in Lodi, NJ. The patient, who has been in a nursing home but wishes to be cared for at home, has specific needs due to a recent heart attack and ongoing health issues.

Responsibilities:

• Administer feeding through a feeding tube.
• Change diapers and assist with all aspects of personal hygiene.
• Assist with washing down the patient.
• Ensure the patient’s comfort and safety while in bed.
• Provide compassionate companionship and support.

Requirements:

• Certification as a Home Health Aide (CHHA) in New Jersey.
• Experience with feeding tubes and personal care.
• Ability to handle physical demands, including changing diapers and assisting with hygiene.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work 7 days a week.
• Excellent communication skills and a caring attitude.

Additional Information:

• The patient’s wife is retired and at home, available to provide support and assistance.
• The position is part-time, requiring 3 hours of care per day, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
• Gender of the caregiver does not matter.
