A day in the life

By mid-morning, you’re coordinating with a GC on a light commercial tenant improvement, making sure rough-ins line up with the plans. In the afternoon, you complete a preventive check on a water heater, document materials used, and wrap up with a satisfied client who knows their plumbing system is compliant and ready for the long haul.

What you’ll handle

• Install, service, and maintain plumbing systems—including pipes, fixtures, and appliances—across homes and commercial sites.
• Diagnose issues accurately and deliver timely, effective repairs and solutions.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to extend system life.
• Ensure all work meets local plumbing codes and regulations.
• Coordinate smoothly with other trades and contractors to keep projects on schedule.
• Keep clear, accurate records of tasks performed and materials consumed.
• Provide professional, courteous customer service with concise, friendly communication.

What you bring

• Valid California Journeyman Plumber license.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in plumbing installation and repair.
• Solid command of plumbing systems, tools, and trade techniques.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Sharp troubleshooting abilities and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort working independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
