Regal Staffing Services of Arlington is currently seeking an Entry-Level Maintenance Mechanic for a well-established manufacturing company located in Grand Prairie, TX (75050). This is a great opportunity for someone with basic mechanical or maintenance experience who is looking to grow their skills in a manufacturing environment.
Shift, Schedule & Pay
- Schedule: 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM Monday- Thursday
- Pay Rate: $20.00 – $25.00/hr, based on experience
Position Responsibilities
The Maintenance Mechanic will assist with maintaining and repairing production equipment while learning advanced maintenance skills. Duties may include:
- Assist with troubleshooting and repairing production equipment
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance
- Assist with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals
- Assist with equipment diagnostics, testing, and repairs
- Assist with electrical maintenance, including 3-phase / 480V systems
- Identify worn, damaged, or faulty parts and assist with replacements
- Use basic hand and power tools safely
- Assist experienced maintenance technicians with repairs and installations
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
- Lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply
- Basic mechanical, electrical, or maintenance experience preferred
- Manufacturing, warehouse, automotive, construction, or technical experience is a plus
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Willingness to learn mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
