About the Role:
Robert David Malove PA is seeking a driven and passionate Criminal Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team in Miami, FL. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced criminal defense attorneys on high-stakes cases that truly make a difference in clients' lives.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in criminal defense matters at various stages of litigation, including hearings, trials, and appeals
• Draft and file motions, briefs, pleadings, and other legal documents
• Conduct thorough legal research and case analysis to develop effective defense strategies
• Communicate directly with clients, keeping them informed throughout the legal process
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex criminal cases, including felonies and misdemeanors
• Negotiate with prosecutors regarding plea agreements and case resolutions
• Manage a caseload independently while meeting deadlines and court schedules

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active Florida Bar license in good standing
• 5 years of criminal law experience, either in prosecution or defense
• Strong courtroom presence and litigation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus in the Miami market
