Job Summary:
Angel Companions, a leading provider of private duty non-medical in-home senior care in Decatur, Georgia, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team of dedicated caregivers. Responsibilities:
Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Assist with daily living activities, such as medication management, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
Observe and report any changes in clients' condition to the care manager or other healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate and detailed records of client care and services provided
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals
Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Georgia
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or post-secondary education preferred
Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a CNA in a home care or long-term care setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals
Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition clients safely and comfortably; ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if applicable)
