Job Summary: Manage trailer check-ins, maintain accurate inventory, and ensure all units are prepared for sale, rental, or lease. This role supports the sales and logistics teams by coordinating trailer readiness, improving lot organization, and maintaining high data accuracy to drive operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties:

  • Perform trailer check-ins and maintain accurate inventory records in the management system (ex. Pinquire).
  • Conduct cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Ensure trailers are properly processed for sale, rent, or lease – including removing license plates, inspecting conditions, and coordinating necessary repairs or cleaning.
  • Work with bank auditors to locate and verify trailers on floor plans.
  • Issue purchase orders and coordinate with vendors for processing & repair work.
  • Assist the Logistics Coordinator in scheduling, movement, and tracking of trailers.
  • Review inventory spreadsheets to confirm photos and specifications are complete and accurate.
  • Support the sales team with accurate, timely trailer data and availability updates.
  • Attend company meetings and contribute to continuous improvement discussions.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners to ensure smooth trailer throughput.
  • Stay current on trailer models, equipment specs, and market trends to assist sales strategy.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development and skill enhancement.

  • Proficient in MS Excel and general computer systems.

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma required; Associate or Bachelor degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in inventory management, logistics, or related administrative roles.
  • Experience with inventory software or lot management systems preferred.

Physical Environments:

  • Moderate to high noise levels; work performed both indoors and outdoors.
  • Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs. and climb in/out of trailers.
  • Frequent walking and bending are required in yard areas.
