Pay Rate: $19-20 DOE
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes and other machine shop equipment.
- Operate equipment such as precision grinders, drill presses, punch presses, and cutting saws.
- Make basic edits or adjustments to CNC machine programs as required.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
- Perform measurements and inspections to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Use calipers, micrometers, rulers, measuring tapes, and other precision measuring tools.
- Follow established quality and safety procedures.
- Maintain productivity while producing accurate, quality work.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform other machine shop duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of Machinist experience required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with machine setup and operation.
- Experience setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes.
- Ability to perform basic CNC program edits or adjustments.
- Experience with precision grinders and other machine shop equipment preferred.
- Strong blueprint/print reading skills.
- Basic shop mathematics, including decimals and metric measurements.
- Experience using calipers and micrometers.
- Must have basic machinist tools.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to follow verbal and written work instructions.
- Ability to stand at a machine for approximately 80% of the workday.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- High school diploma, vocational/technical training, or equivalent experience.
