Maintenance Assistant – Etowah Landing
$15.00 per hour
(1 day/week, with potential for additional hours based on Center needs)
Etowah Landing is currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Maintenance Assistant to support our Maintenance team. This is a great opportunity for someone with practical maintenance skills looking for flexible, part-time work.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general repair tasks, including fixing doors, locks, door frames, handles, and replacing light bulbs, sockets, switches, and window glass.
Handle basic plumbing work such as unclogging drains and repairing leaking faucets or toilets.
Inspect electrical panels and wiring for issues that require immediate repair.
Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and report low stock to the Supervisor.
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance and clean-up requests.
Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition.
Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with basic carpentry, plumbing, and general repairs.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Good time management and the ability to prioritize tasks.
Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
Familiarity with hand and power tools, as well as general safety equipment.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
