Position Responsibilities:

  • Experience with measuring equipment, (e.g., calipers, comparator, micrometers, etc.).
  • Perform incoming inspection.
  • Familiar with APQP, FMEA, and PPAP.
  • Be able to analyze data such as normal distribution charts, trend charts, control charts, etc.
  • Training employees on quality standards and procedures.
  • Documenting defects and recommendations for improvement.
  • Responsible and accountable for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Perform all duties in a safe manner using proper tools and wearing appropriate protective equipment as required.
  • Participate in the internal audit system, member of the internal audit team.
  • Understands and practices Quality System requirements and documentation (i.e. applicable inspection, verification and disposition procedures, and/or instructions and forms required as part of the process).

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent.
  • Five (5) Years’ Experience as Internal Quality Auditor for ISO 9000.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to follow both verbal and written instructions.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • At least one (1) year experience in QA Auditor role in a manufacturing environment.
  • CMM operating experience.
  • CQA certification a plus.
