Manual Screw Machinist

Are you an experienced Manual Screw Machine Machinist who takes pride in building a part from print to completion? We're looking for a skilled machinist with experience setting up and operating Brown & Sharpe or Davenport multi-spindle screw machines. Experience with ServoCAM or similar CAM-controlled systems is a strong plus.

What You'll Do

• Complete machine setups from blueprints
• Set up and operate Brown & Sharpe or Davenport screw machines
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Sharpen and maintain your own tooling
• Program or adjust ServoCAM or similar CAM-controlled systems as needed
• Perform inspections using precision measuring equipment
• Make machine adjustments to maintain quality and production
• Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues

What We're Looking For

• Experience setting up Brown & Sharpe or Davenport manual screw machines
• Ability to produce parts directly from blueprints
• Experience with ServoCAM or similar CAM-controlled screw machine systems preferred
• Strong blueprint reading and precision measurement skills
• Experience sharpening tooling
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Commitment to producing high-quality precision components
