Seasonal Field Coordinator – OperationsLocation: Kangerlussuaq, GreenlandEmployer: Polar Field Services, Inc.Deployment: April to AugustAbout the RolePolar Field Services is hiring a Seasonal Field Coordinator – Operations to support research teams in Kangerlussuaq, Greenland. This role blends operations and administration, ensuring smooth logistics for housing, travel, communications, and field support. This role is very dynamic and requires fast turnarounds.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate housing assignments, lodging reservations, and muster lists.Update the master tracking database for travel changes and field delays.Allocate communications gear and provide basic training.Assist with office coverage, participant check-ins, and orientations.Support general operations: transport, clothing issue/tracking, and site familiarization.Assist with vehicle operations, inventory, sample storage, and fuel tracking.Participate in planning meetings and deploy to field camps as needed.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Valid U.S. driver's license.3+ years of experience in customer service, administration, or data management.Strong computer skills.Current U.S. passport.Preferred: Prior remote site or logistics experience; sewing/gear repair skills.
