Overview: Silicone Extrusion Operator:

Utilize the machinery in the Silicone Department in order to fulfill daily production requirements
Use the daily schedule to determine production requirements.
Open to be trained on:
all machine safety
set-up, shut-down
operating procedures in the platinum and the peroxide extrusion rooms
properly measure using: rulers, tape measures, dial calipers, wall thickness and pin gages, use ultrasonic thickness gages for wall thickness measurements
Develop the ability to measure silicone tubing and hose: this includes the I.D., the O.D., and the wall thickness.
Must have the physical ability to mix 50-60 pounds of silicone rubber on a two[1]roll cabinet mill.
Must be comfortable on ladders in order to string the line at start up.
Use FIFO when using raw material for extrusion.
Record accurate lot information and follow company rules on documentation.
Daily teamwork and collaboration with other departments is expected, housekeeping and logging of Cleanroom activities is a required.
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work 12-hour shifts.
